PRIVACY INFORMATION NOTICE


When you use our services, you agree that our company may collect some of your personal information. The purpose of this page is to illustrate who we are, what information we collect, how we handle it, to whom it may be disclosed, where it may be transferred and what your rights are.

The following information is provided pursuant to art. 13 of EU Regulation 679/2016 "European Regulation on the Protection of Personal Data - GDPR" to all users who interact with web services accessible electronically from the address of the official website of Prometeia Group www.prometeia.it and regarding the activities of all entities of the Group.

The information is provided exclusively for the site in question and not for other websites that the user may consciously use via links.

Prometeia is committed to protecting the Personal Data entrusted to it. Therefore, their management and security are guaranteed with the utmost care, in accordance with the requirements of privacy law (EU Regulation 2016/679).

 

Data Processing Holder

Prometeia has also appointed its own Personal Data Protection Manager, who can be contacted at the address of the Data Controller or through the "Sites and contacts" section on the website www.prometeia.it or by sending an e-mail to dpo@prometeia.com or privacy@prometeia.com.

 

Purposes of processing

Prometeia will use your data exclusively for purposes connected with the sending of Prometeia information and marketing material.

With your specific consent, your common personal data will be processed for: sending of informative/editorial material on economic, financial and banking matters by experts of the Group; communications and information on the Group's activities and events organised by or in which the Group companies participate; updating on the Group's training initiatives; commercial information.

 

Legal basis for processing

Prometeia will carry out the processing on the basis of your consent.

Any partial or total failure to provide data will result in the partial or total inability to achieve the above purposes and therefore you can no longer receive our communications.
The extent and adequacy of the Data provided will be evaluated from time to time, in order to determine the consequent decisions and to avoid the processing of Data that exceeds the purposes pursued.

We will not use your personal data for purposes other than those described in this information notice, without informing you in advance and, where necessary, obtaining your consent.

 

Use of personal data

The objective of Prometeia is to protect the Personal Data entrusted to it, basing their processing on the principles of correctness, lawfulness and transparency. We inform you, therefore, that your personal data will be processed through the use of tools and procedures to ensure maximum security and confidentiality, with the help of digital media, computer and telematic. The communications referred to in the 'Purposes of processing' point may be carried out in traditional ways (e.g. by post, telephone calls with an operator), and in a similar way (e.g. by fax, e-mail, SMS or MMS).

You are, however, given the right to exercise your right of opposition which, in the absence of your indication to the contrary, will refer to both traditional and automated communications.

 

Period of retention of personal data

The data provided by the user will be deleted immediately after the termination of the activities voluntarily requested. Should you previously ask for your personal data to be deleted, they will be removed from our databases within the 30 days provided for by EU regulation 679/2016.

 

Your Personal Data are not subject to disclosure

 

Recipients of personal data

In order to follow up on the purposes described above, your personal data will be sent to companies in charge of managing the email sending service.

In addition, the Data may be disclosed to companies of the Prometeia Group or to third parties, which operate in collaboration with Prometeia.

For all the purposes indicated in this information notice, your Data may also be communicated abroad, inside and outside the European Union, in compliance with the rights and guarantees provided for by current legislation, subject to verification that the country in question provides an 'adequate' level of protection.

The Data will also be processed by resources within the offices of the Companies of the Group, properly trained, who operate as personnel authorized to process the Data.

 

Rights of the person concerned

At any time, you'll have the right to ask:

  • access to your personal data
  • their correction in the event of their inaccuracy
  • the cancellation
  • the limitation of their processing
  • the right to object to their processing
  • the right to their portability, i.e. to receive the personal data provided by you in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable form

We will take care of your request with the maximum commitment to ensure the effective exercise of your rights. 
Finally, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the National Control Authority (Privacy Authority).

 

Revocation of consent

You may revoke your consent at any time, but you will not be able to do so:

  • affect the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent given before the revocation
  • prevent further processing of the same data based on other legal bases (for example, contractual obligations or legal obligations to which Prometeia is subject)
